The Donoghue Family

I am taking bookings for the academic 25/26 year. We have been hosting for 8 years and have welcomed students from Spain, France, Germany, Italy and Hungary. We live in the countryside and have 1 dog, 4 rabbits, 2 guinea pigs, 3 hens and 4 fish, all outside except the fish! Our oldest 2 (20:years old) attend university. The 4 younger children (2 are 18 and 2 are 14 years old) attend the local post primary school. They are involved in gaelic football, soccer and athletics so our evenings and weekends are usually busy. We travel most evenings and weekends to practice, matches, and competitions. Our children will play cards, pool and board games if we gave rain. Otherwise, we have outside space to play soccer. ,go- karts and a basketball hoop. The girls love making tik tok videos and go on daily dog walks as the area is quiet and safe. There is a castle nearby, too. Athlone is a big town with 2 shopping centres 30 minutes away. We also bring our students to see Galway, our nearest city. If you are interested in becoming part of a large family, then we are the family for you. Our school has girls and boys and we would welcome either girls or boys of 16 years and under. The school is well organised and if possible with the timetable, extra English tuition is given.
