We live in a town called Callan. A small estate with 16 houses, 2 min walk from the town. We are 15 mins in the car from Kilkenny City. There is a bus to Kilkenny also. We are close to all amenities, shops, barbers, sports fields, soccer, hurling, parks, food outlets - take aways, chemists. There is a swimming pool and sports center in Kilkenny also. We have a 4 bedroom house. The student will share a bathroom with one of my sons and have a private room. We have 2 sitting rooms, the kitchen, utility and downstairs bathroom. Our garden is small but plenty of room on the green outside. We do have 2 dogs, a large and a small one, so you must like dogs. We are a very active house and encourage all students to experience Kilkenny, what it offers and enjoy their time here. The 2 boys have summer work, play/sports training. We have a relaxed atmosphere in the house, so you will feel comfortable. Host mum will be on holidays during your time here. She also enjoys the outdoors, walking, exploring and visiting different attractions with students. Mum will also bring you to Dublin Wexford and Waterford city for trips. Josh and Dan will possibly be working during the summer, they may not always be at home. Host mum will be your main host while you are here and ensure you see and experience Irish activities , sights and enjoy your time. *We are a non-smoking and non-vaping house.
