The Ó Flatharta Family

Welcome to our home in Connemara on the Wild Atlantic Way. We are a family of 6, our 4 children range in age from 6 to 15 years old. Our host students can look forward to being part of our family life, going on local trips, walks, watching family movies, experiencing country living in safe secure family environment. We have 1 dog (a Labrador) and 5 cows, the students will be encouraged to care for the animals if they wish to do so. We are a kind, fun, outgoing family. We love to do lots of activities, including walking, running, swimming at the nearby beach, soccer, gaelic football and card games. We live in a very beautiful part of Ireland (County Galway) close to a lot of beaches and picturesque villages, such as Clifden, Roundstone and Spiddal. We are also located close to the fantastic city of Galway, with many famous festivals, cultural events and excellent shopping. Our students will be welcomed into our home and family and will have a wonderful experience in the west of Ireland with the opportunity of improving or perfecting their English!
