The Golden Family

We are a family of 3 (mum, dad & 9 year-old girl) living on the beautiful Ring of Kerry / Skellig Region, in the town of Cahersiveen, next to the Atlantic ocean and the local secondary school. We are a 3 minute walk to the local supermarket and a 15 minute walk to the centre of town.Our Au Pair Christa (from USA) also lives with us. We live in a small and close-knit community which is a vibrant place to live, especially in the Summer months. We have travelled extensively and are frequent hosts of various nationalities. We would love you to become part of our family, sharing meals, stories and experiences. We would love the opportunity to introduce you to traditional dishes and vice versa.You are in an ideal location for visiting historical and archaeological sights, as well as access to hiking, beaches, water sports etc. We are 1 hours drive from Kerry International airport, 2 hours from Cork Airport, 2.5 hours from Shannon airport and 4.5 hours drive to Dublin Airport.#We can cater for anyone following a gluten free diet as our daughter has Coeliacs Disease.
