The Flannery-Broderick Family

I Avril work as a Solicitor (Lawyer) and my husband is an Architect. We came from humble beginnings so lots of humility and while we have been lucky professionally through hard work, we are even prouder to be parents. We live a 7 bedroom house, which is within walking distance to tennis courts, swimming pools, gyms and different clubs such as scouts and the no-name club and Foroige. Classes such as Yoga and Pilates are also within walking distance. There is lots of things to do and I adapt to each young person who comes, but equally help them try new things. We usually have an Au Pair to help with the children, if not l, a live out childminder. Cleaners come to our home every Friday. I love cooking and we are used to hosting in our home and getting to know and help those who come. I will be on a career break from August 2025 for a year so I will be quite hands on and available to support any young person who comes. The way I see it, coming to Ireland is not just about getting better at a language but growing as a person. Knock airport is 20 minutes from our home, Shannon Airport 1.5 hours and Dublin Airport is about 3 hours. Public transport such as buses and trains are a 2 minute walk away.
