In order not to miss the numerous games that we can do in our English summer camps on these dates, we are going to propose that you do several games as a family at this Halloween party, so that you can enjoy this special night.

  1. The Pumpkin Game: This game is played with one or more pumpkins and is perfect for families. One pumpkin can be used for each player or one for all players. A pumpkin is placed in the middle of the room and all players stand in a circle around it. The object of the game is to pass the pumpkin to the next player without it falling over. If it falls, the player who made it fall must scream and is eliminated, the player who does not drop the pumpkin even once wins.
  2. The game of hide and seek: This game is played with a group of children, the number does not matter, they can play as many as they want. One of the children is the seeker and the rest hide. The seeker must count to 100 and then start searching. When you find a child, he must give a cry to warn the others. Then the discovered child will be the next seeker. It's like the traditional hide and seek but much more fun on this night, because, in addition, there can be scares and hiding places in unexpected places.
  3. The game of chairs: Adults and children can participate, regardless of age, you just have to prepare the same number of chairs as participants. All players stand in a circle around the chairs. One of the players will be the musician and the rest will be the dancers. When the musician begins to play, the dancers begin to dance. When the musician stops, the dancers must run to sit on a chair. The child who can't sit on a chair will be the next musician.
  4. Treasure hunting. Each member of the family must choose two elements related to Halloween, then a list will be made with all the selected ones and later, they will be hidden in different places in the house or garden. Each member of the family must find the greatest number of objects in the shortest possible time. There are no rules of where or how to hide targets, it just takes a lot of imagination. Whoever finds them first wins. When there are many members of the family or there are more friends at home, what we recommend is to play in pairs or teams. And to make it more difficult, more objects can be hidden.
  5. The Egg Race. The family is divided into teams and each team must go through a previously drawn circuit, without dropping the eggs they carry. The circuit can cover one or even several rooms in the house and the eggs can be carried anywhere on the body such as under the arm, the chin or between the knees. You'll think it's easy, but here's the fun part, using your hands is prohibited.

We hope you find these games fun and we invite you to practice English with all the words related to this traditional festival. You will have a scary night!
