We live in a four bedroom semi detached house in Abbeyside which is a 10 minute walk to the center of dungarvan. We are located just 10 minutes from the greenway 50km cycle and walking track with stunning views for which we supply bicycles for the students and guests to use our nearest beach is also 10 minutes from our home there is a tennis club 3 golf clubs soccer football hurling rugby sailing boxing kick boxing dancing classes music classes drama clubs gyms numerous cafes restaurants and bars the cinema and shops. We walk alot and have 2 dogs Springer spaniels who are very quiet and friendly. We are rugby fans as Kevin used to play in his younger years he also did deep sea diving and is an excellent swimmer. I love cooking sightseeing I enjoy day trips to cities also enjoy bird watching and nature enjoy gardening walking camping and going to the beach. .We are friendly and welcoming and love meeting new students and hearing about their lives and traditions and have made some wonderful friends through hosting. We are pretty relaxed and easy going and I'm very easy to talk too and always encourage students to come to me if they have a problem or are unhappy in any way and I will do my best to help.We live very near the bus station for both local link buses who travel to all nearby villages towns and seaside villages with beautiful cliff walks and beaches their are also buses to larger cities which leave every hour to places like Waterford Cork kilkenny and Dublin.The route 40 bus stops at SETU and is less than an hours journey students and young adults get discounted fares with a student / leap card.
