La familia Maguire

Hi , our names are Angela and Patrick,we live in the Midlands in Co Tipperary, Ireland, known as the home of our national game called hurling. We live in a 5 bedroom dormer house, with 4 bathrooms, 1 sitting room, kitchen, and living room, the living room is where we spend a lot of time with family and friends. We live in the Countryside, surrounded by scenic views ,we are a short stroll from the village where a leisurely walk can be enjoyed in the local park or a hot chocolate or delicious treats in the local coffee shop. We are a short drive from the Iconic and impressive Rock of Cashel, the famous Coolmore stud is an 8 minute drive from our home. Our area is steeped in history. We enjoy meeting new people, learning about other cultures and traditions and sharing ours with other Nationalities. We enjoy the outdoors and love showing our beautiful countryside and heritage and historical sites to our guests. We enjoy hiking through the many trails in our area and surrounding Counties, spending time with family and friends enjoying home cooked meals and eating out too. We enjoy reading, watching movies, we also enjoy keeping fit, watching sports.We have one daughter and a granddaughter, she is two years old. We have two cats and one dog.We are experienced Host as we have hosted academic students for the past 7 years. We have learned from our guests and hopefully they have learned from us. We enjoyed seeing them grow in confidence speaking the English language and enjoyed having them try our Irish dishes and enjoy learning about our history and visiting some of our iconic and historical sites, adding in some fun along the way.Our students will enjoy some traditional Irish cooking, the chance to cook with us, hikes through our beautiful trails and walkways, visits to historical sites such as the Rock of Cashel , Cahir Castle, Mitchelstown Caves, attend a traditional music and dance venue, enjoy a hurling match, or attend sport camp or horse riding camp.
