My name is Mairead, I have 4 adult children who have all moved away from home. I live in Kilkee on the west coast of Co Clare. Kilkee is a beach town so gets busy during the summer. Kayaking, golf and horse riding are some of the available activities. I live in a 3 bedroom apartment in the town, so I'm close to the activities. Kilkee is an hour from Shannon airport. We have kayaking, pitch and putt and horse riding available. I'm beside the beach, so swimming is a must. We also have lovely walks I do, or I can do a longer hike if they prefer.
