When I went to Ireland, I was in a host family who was really nice with me. I stayed at the Beggan’s family. The family is composed of three girls who were really nice with me and the parents were also really welcoming and caring. We camped at the house of (the Beggan)'s friends and we eat barbecue, it was really fun. We also went to visit a castle, we also went to a water park, it was a very good trip !
It was the first time I went on a language immersion trip and it was a very nice experience, as I felt integrated into the Beggan family from the very first moment. Before travelling I had the opportunity to meet them by videocall and I found them very friendly. When I spent time with them I saw that they were also attentive and affectionate. The whole family loves sports and I was able to get to know some of the typical ones from there. The mother cooks very well, the grandparents are lovely and I felt integrated in all the activities we did together, such as surfing, helping out at a camp... At the beginning it was a bit difficult for me to understand them, but they spoke more slowly so that I could understand them. It has been a great experience and I would definitely repeat it.
