Hi! We are a lovely italian family of six person. We live in the beautiful city of Catania in Sicily and from our house you will see every morning the sunrise above the Mediterranean sea and the sunset behind the mount Etna. We live surrounded by gardens and trees and in 5 minute by car we reach the city centre. There's also a bus stop at 1 minute away from our door that takes you straight to the city centre. Our house is very big as we are 4 children, even if Marco and Martina have already left the house to study and work abroad so we have a lot of space to host you and to offer you the best Italian experience ever! My parents both work as doctors at the hospital. They are very caring and lovely. My name is Cristina, I am the second child of the family. I am 26 years old and I speak 4 languages: Italian, English, French and Spanish and if you really want to live the full experience I can also teach you some Sicilian words! My family and I have spent several years during the high school hosting students from all around the world and I have been hosted too as a foreign student so I absolutely know what it means for each student to live such an experience. I know very well what student and people need to feel comfortable being far from home and I know what they would like to find in their hosting family in terms of space, family life and activities. I can't wait to meet all those students who will choose my beautiful house and city to spend some lovely and unforgettable time together with my family! We will go to the sea, here in Catania we have a lot of different types so you will never get bored; we will visit the mount etna and we can climb the crateri silvestri; we will explore the city near my city (such as Syracuse and Palermo); we can go shopping, organize picnics in the nature, go out to take pictures, organizing cooking classes of our traditional food
