La familia Donoghue

I HAVE A ROOM AVAILABLE FOR ACADEMIC YEAR 2024/2025 from mid Oct AND PLACES AVAILABLE IN LOCAL SCHOOLS. We do airport pickup. Our preference is Knock Ireland west airport but also do Dublin.We have been hosting for 7 years and have welcomed students from Spain, France, Germany and Italy. We live in the countryside and have 1 dog, 4 rabbits, 2 guinea pigs, 4 hens and 4 fish, all outside except the fish! 🙂 Our oldest 2 attend university. The 4 younger children attend the local post primary school. They are involved in gaelic football, soccer,, athletics and dancing so our evenings and weekends are usually busy. You have your own room (unless you wish to come with a friend or sibling) with internet.We travel most evenings and weekends to practice,matches and competitions. Our children will play cards and board games if the weather is bad. Otherwise we have a trampoline, go- karts and basketball hoop outside, the girls love making tik tok videos and go on daily dog walks as the area is quiet and safe. There is a castle nearby too. Athlone is a big town with 2 shopping centres 30 minutes away. We also bring our students to see Galway, our nearest city. If you are interested in becoming part of a large family then we are the family for you.😀We are now ready to welcome students for the 2024/2025 school year. Our school has girls and boys and we would welcome either girls or boys of 16 years and under. The school is well organised and if possible with the timetable extra English tuition is given. Make an enquiry if you would like further information. Again we can accommodate friends or siblings who wish to share a room. Otherwise you have your own room with study desk and WiFi.
