Die Familie McAleese

We are a busy family with a variety of interests. We spend quite a bit of time out and about at different activities. For example, whatever sporting activities the family are involved in, horse riding, athletics, soccer matches. We like to take some day trips and visit places of interest, or perhaps a day to the beach or visiting family in Dublin or the north of Ireland.  We also enjoy trying out new recipes in the kitchen and there is usually somebody baking. We are busy family of five, who enjoy welcoming students to live with us and be part of our family while they stay and go to school in the community. A little bit about us… Johnny (host Father) works in Clonmel, a town about 40 minutes drive from our home. He works a shift pattern which means that you will see him every weekend and in the evenings every second week (usually he will collect you from school on this week). Johnny has a strong interest in history and current affairs. I (Jennie, host Mother) work mostly from home but travel around sometimes also. I will bring you to school each day and collect you often. I enjoy being outdoors when I can and I love the beach (although we don’t get there often enough). I also enjoy travelling and day trips and activities.
